The staff at Yelloh Portugal were fantastic, every interaction we had with them during our stay was good. I would like to give a special mention to Sancho from security who was a pleasure and the lady on reception (Tuesday at approx 2pm) who helped us organise a garage to fix a puncture on our hire car. The accommodation was very small and this wouldn't have been a problem if the weather had been better but being confined to the chalet for most of the holiday it did become an issue with the lounge area not really being comfortable or having room for 3 people to sit comfortably for an evening.

The facilities and staff were second to none. Although the weather wasn’t brilliant it did not detract from the overall experience. We are very satisfied with the site, the staff are brilliant the only disappointment this year is the indoor swimming pool should have been opened after refurbishment on the 18th of March it is now the 2nd April and it is still not open.

Campsite was beautiful and the restaurant sand staff there were great. It’s a shame our pitch was near the pool area where they were doing last minute works to the indoor pool which wasn’t open for use, we were woken by the tradesmen around 7.00am which is a little early when you are paying premium prices to stay at the resort. Apart from this we couldn’t fault the experience.

These last ones are sold out very quickly as the demand is very high and people normally book a long time in advance. The cleanliness and facilities were very good but the customer service did not match. The pitches were mostly of good size but not well prepared. The electric and water on the pitch had to be unlocked, why? Does Turiscampo/Yelloh not trust it's customers? It is inconvenient to have to wait for the electric to be connected or have to wait to leave because someone has to disconnect the electric cable. The cafe/restaurant was very good, the staff very pleasant and helpful but why did it not open until 12? I wanted a coffee at 10.30 in the morning but the facility was shut! My wife watched as many people walked up to the door between 9am and 10.30, obviously hoping for a drink, or some food, only to have to leave the campsite or make it themselves. The outdoor gym area looked very nice but to use it you have to find and then ask someone to unlock it, why?

Dear Sir, Thank you for booking with us and for taking the time to answer our satisfaction questionnaire. We are very happy to read that you found our facilities and cleanliness very good and regret that you did not consider our customer service as good. We would like to inform you that the boxes on the electric plugs, as well as the lock closing the outdoor fitness area, are in place for security reasons, to prevent accidents with the children staying at the campsite. During low season, almost all our services (including the bar/ café) have more reduced opening times. Our supermarket, however, opens at 8 am everyday, throughout the year, and they have a coffee machine and different bread and pastry options available from opening time. We would also like to take this opportunity to inform that both pitches and accommodations are randomly assigned on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, our offer of pitches with water and drainage is more limited and they are very sought after and booked a long time in advance. This is why it is generally very difficult to find alternative availabilites on arrival for this type of pitch. Nontheless, we are happy to announce that we will soon be increasing our offer of pitches with water and drainage and even some specially designed for very large motorhomes, equipped with private sanitary blocks. Turiscampo is certainly the best we have been to in Spain and Portugal, the facilities are spotless, good sized pitches for Europe, the only criticism is that the pitches should be sprayed it would make first impressions of the site amazing. We must also compliment HELDER, he is always happy, smiling and ready to please.
